Brad Pitt is set to reprise his role as Cliff Booth, the enigmatic Hollywood stuntman from Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 hit, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, in a new spin-off film helmed by director David Fincher. This upcoming movie, officially titled The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, will delve into Booth’s life and experiences as he maneuvers through an evolving film industry in the late 1970s. The film is slated for a two-week global IMAX release on November 25, ahead of its Netflix streaming debut on December 23.
Although Quentin Tarantino penned the screenplay, he has opted not to direct the project, expressing a desire for his final directorial endeavor not to be a sequel, despite his enthusiasm for further exploring Booth’s story. Set in 1977, eight years after the original film’s events, this new narrative promises to explore the changes Booth encounters in a rapidly transforming Hollywood landscape.
